MakerCon: Citizen Science Workshop

Before Maker Faire this year, Maker Media is putting on another event that is by and for makers. It's going to be a little less hectic than the actual Faire, and will provide an opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with a lot of leaders of the maker movement.

I'm really excited that they've dedicated an entire morning to citizen science and exploration, and honored that they've asked me to co-host the workshop. It's going to be a small and intimate discussion rather than a big, lecture-type event.

It'd be great to see any or all of you there. Here's more information on the workshop:

You should present at the the Mini Maker Faire in the Netherlands! We can support from a distance!

If any of you guys would like to cross the pond and get over to the upcoming mini makerfaire in kerkrade, netherlands (which will be 20-21 of september this year) I would love to see you there, too. I know it's a small makerfaire but this would be a great opportunity to meet the european userbase (or even expand it). There will also be a bigger makerfaire in Hannover, Germany. Keep us informed whether there will be a european maker faire featuring OpenROV.
